Who would have thought that gum can make you look friendlier... That's exactly what this experiment focused on. They took identical twins, gave one of them gum, and then the public was asked questions. The results were amazing. I should probably chew more gum! : )
I recently got the opportunity to design a poster for a pet parade in St. Johnsbury. It was quite ironic because I've never been a dog person! I'm afraid... but hey! why not? So I did it. Vermont is known for the famous wood carvings and children's books illustrations of Stephen Huneck.
At first, I wasn't too thrilled about the first poster, but then i was told that it would have been great if it had the Stephen Huneck theme since Dog Mountain, the place he started was a major contributor and had allowed to used some of their imagery. Of course I'm told this after the first poster is done and not during the first meetings...yay!
So I went back to the drawing board, and started looking at several illustrations of Stephen and began drawing. The theme was also the Olympics, so I had to incorporate that into the mix. Hey! the dog stole an olympic ring!
I've always been a big fan of anamorphic illusions. I still haven't been able to do one myself! These guys, however took it to the next level by having their entire music video full of them. Love it!
Right when you think you're the first one to discover something, someone else has already done it! That's exactly what Dutch Artist simply known as "A. Boogert" did 271 years ago when he put together an 800-page book on mixing watercolors. Quite amazing! Check out the whole thing!
For those moments in which we need to improvise and adapt! Here are cool ways to achieve awesome photographs using a few tricks.
